Review entire approach and approval requirements for “road diet” policies. Mid-road concrete curbs, curb extensions and related changes are not matched to the actual safety risks being used as justification[a] while they increase risks to both drivers as they enter or exit their vehicles and to residents as traffic diverts from main thoroughfares to more residential areas.
